This is a quality art print produced by me in my home studio. The painting was done with watercolors at the Oregon Garden in Silverton, OR.
The Story:
Having never been to the Oregon Garden yet hearing a lot about it, I was blown away. I could have spent the whole day walking around and am determined to visit again this summer to do so, but deciding on a spot to sit and paint was a challenge. There were so many beautiful spots but this path highlighted several early blooms with a dynamic composition. I am not sure if it was the day, weather, or time, but it seemed I was one of 5 people in the entire garden. I was able to take my time and focus on how I wanted to communicate the beauty of the scene while working a bit larger than my typical Plein-air paintings. The Oregon tale as old as time, though, cannot be stopped and some clouds rolled in causing me to have to pack up and complete it in the studio. Even just starting a painting en plein-air, I find that I highlight the items that make me feel something and jump out in a way I can only experience there.
-8”x10”
-Sizes are of the paper, painting includes a white boarder showing the raw edges of the paint layers
-Thick, matte paper with slight texture
-Shipping cost added at checkout
