The Story:
This painting was one I waited over a year to create, sitting on the image I took on a foggy Saturday morning. The morning of the photo was one of several that gave me a push to creating again after letting my art sit on the backburner for a couple years. I kept promising myself I would go out and paint on the weekends but I never would follow through until this day. I had woken up and got all ready early in the morning and saw that it was beautifully foggy but not raining and finally convinced myself to go. The painting I did that day was a small one but it reminded me of my love for going outside, interacting with the environment and observing wildlife, and chatting with strangers who appreciate all the same things. This brought me back to my passion so the photos I took that day while I was out were ones I wanted to revisit when I fully embraced my art again.
