This is a quality art print produced by me in my home studio. The painting was done with watercolors of the coast cliffside at Heceta Head Lighthouse Vantage Point in Florence, OR.
The Story:
This painting is one of my favorites of this drop. This lookout point was the place I went when I first moved to Oregon, when I knew absolutely no one, that I felt so deeply that this was the place I was meant to be at this time in my life. I have been back many times since then. What called to me here to paint was not the lighthouse behind the camera but the setting of the road, wall, cliffside, and the seagull that welcomes me almost every time I am there. There is so much more to the coast than the main spotlight attractions and those humble elements are what I am most drawn to when I am capturing them.
