This is a quality postcard/art print, designed by me and printed locally. The painting was done with watercolors en plein-air, aka on location, along the Willamette at River Wood Beach in Eugene, OR.
The Story:
This painting captures a spot that I pass every time I walk along the path connecting all the river parks. Even in early spring, this little nook shines with life of early blooms and eccentric ducks and geese. My amazing friend came with on the tedious experience of deciding where to paint and listened as I rambled about the pros and cons of each potential spot while helping me find the vision for it. Sitting there with the warm spring sun shining through the blossoms, getting to chat for hours with a friend, and capturing a spot that reminds me of the lovely place I live was the perfect way to welcome the new season.
