This is a quality greeting card, produced by me in my home studio. The painting was done with watercolors of a lovely home in Eugene, OR
The Story:
This painting was a re-paint of one I attempted to do plein-air. The sad truth of painting with watercolors in the PNW is that not all of them survive. The rain began about 2 hours in and I was unable to save the piece. Of course, I took a photo and returned to it in the safety of the indoors. This home was one I walked past on an early springtime walk and was stopped in my tracks. The bright details of the house with the soft sunshine and newly blooming tulips begged to be a painting. I came back the next week with my painting supplies and was able to talk to the home owner, who was sitting on the porch enjoying the day, before starting my painting (attempt).
Details:
-5”x7”
-smooth, thick, white cardstock
-blank interior
-Includes green envelope that fits the card perfectly
