This is a quality art print produced by me in my home studio. The painting was done with watercolors en plein-air, aka on location, in Roseburg, Oregon.
The Story:
This painting was the first one done during a week long plein-air event in southern Oregon. I met up with another artist I had just met participating in the event. We drove along the farm hills until we found something that stood out to us, this shining hillscape with a quaint red barn. There a was a pull out on the side of the road the perfect size for us to get set up to paint. About an hour in, the owner of the barn and land passed by with his daughter and delighted in our paintings. It was a great kick-off to the week.
